The 2M Alliance lines, Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC), have confirmed an enhancement to their TA2/NEUATL2 service with a new rotation, which will come from adding calls at Felixstowe and Charleston, and ending the present call at Liverpool.
The revised rotation will ensure extensive coverage for customers moving cargo from Europe and the main US East Coast markets.
The new port rotation will be Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk, Baltimore, Charleston, Savannah, New York and Felixstowe.
The first vessel on the new port rotation will be the 7,154 TEU Santa Rosa, which presently is expected to arrive in Bremerhaven on October 6.
