Cargolux Airlines has launched an online booking portal as part of its efforts to boost its digitalization push.
In a statement, the Luxembourgian flag carrier cargo airline said the new online service will allow customers to log in, request instant spot quote, as well as have access to visibility of allocations "enabling for the selection and booking of the best option."
Cargolux noted that the introduction of this portal is the latest step in the freighter's wide-ranging sales digitalization.
"The online portal offers transaction options for all customer profiles, from international groups to local independent forwarders," Cargolux added.
Mathieu Weber, VP Digital Sales & Marketing noted that "with this new portal, Cargolux is moving closer to an omni-channel connectivity experience for customers."
"The portal offers tailored quoting and booking in a few clicks and we are confident that this handy and timely solution will be highly appreciated by our customers," Weber said.
As part of its digitalization efforts, Cargolux also signed a deal with IBS Software for the replacement of its cargo management system last year after also launching a set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to serve as a direct interface between their systems and its platform.
